• Innovative approach to Veteran specific PTSD and their families.

• Specially tailored multidisciplinary team  utilizing a collaborative approach 

• A localized national response, tailored to each service users needs – incorporating, social, economic and geographical issues

• A pilot project to ascertain the feasibility of a coordinated collaborative local approach and being able to adapt to the unique service user.

The Team would consist of :

​

• The Service User – Veteran with PTSD or Family member 

• Expert by Experience - Potentially a Veteran who has had PTSD and specialist support and training 

• Social Prescriber - within the area of the service user

• Specialist representative form local authority 

• Mental Health Practitioner 

• Clinical Psychologist – For the service user and the team and would be Chair of the MDT

It is anticipated that the programme will develop caring partnerships with other Veteran programmes and utilise other innovative and holistic practices in each service users unique care pathway.
